"And yet I have had the weakness, and have still the weakness, to wish you to know with what a sudden mastery you kindled me, heap of ashes that I am, into fire” - Charles Dickens (A Tale of Two Cities) Don't Follow Me. I Don't Know Where I'm Going.

Sandworm installation by artist Marco Casagrande is part of the Beaufort04 project in Wenduine, Belgium.

Artist Marco Casagrande’s installation ‘Sandworm’ is both architecture and environmental art. The 45 meters long and 10 meters high structure sits among the dunes of the Wenduine coastline in Belgium and is constructed entirely out of willow. Casagrande describes his work as “weak architecture” – a human made structure that wishes to become part of nature through flexibility and organic presence.
